Women in Leadership Development and Empowerment, INC. in collaboration with Dr. Eunice Consulting LLC., is pleased to welcome Dr. Marlene A. Saunders as a Panelist for the Delaware Healthcare Symposium taking place in the city of Dover on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

“Take A Stand: The Future of Healthcare Begins With You”

The ‘Take A Stand” campaign is a platform that brings together community members, leaders and legislators to discuss common unspoken issues affecting our communities and come up with possible solutions.

In May, we will particularly address how these issues are affecting the Healthcare Industry while offering self-help tools, preventive mechanisms and possible solutions. We are bringing together healthcare leaders, innovators and healthcare professionals to address Workplace Violence/Discrimination, Mental Health Issues, Diversity and Inclusion in the healthcare industry and the impact of Long Work Hours on staff and quality of care.

Marlene A. Saunders, DSW, MSW, is a social worker, social work educator and administrator. Her efforts have focused on maximizing relationships to enable people from diverse backgrounds to work together to achieve social justice for everyone.
