Dr. Edith F. Gibson is a Medical Esthetician, researcher, and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing skincare solutions for tropical skin and empowering women through education and innovation. As the founder and CEO of The Tropical Derma Research Group and the producer of the Xcape Skin Care line, she is a pioneer in the field of medical aesthetics, which she introduced to Cameroon in 2013.

<\/p>

With advanced certifications in Oncology and Holistic Skin Care, as well as training from the National Laser Institute and Grace Medical, Dr. Gibson has spent over a decade mastering and redefining aesthetics in the tropics. Her groundbreaking 7-year clinical research has earned her a doctorate in Industrial Psychology and recognition from the Cameroonian government for innovation in her field.

<\/p>

Dr. Gibson is also the CEO and lead formulator at Delight Cosmeceutical Labs and the founder of Tropics Derma Institute, where she trains professionals worldwide to become certified Tropical Skin Specialists. Her collaborations with the Cameroonian Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Women\u2019s Empowerment, UNESCO, and the Nigerian government highlight her commitment to addressing critical issues in skincare and wellness. Currently, she is working with the Nigerian government to combat the skin bleaching pandemic by designing a new national skin care policy.

Dr. Edith F. Gibson\u2019s latest initiative, Ladies in the Boardroom, is a transformative project in collaboration with the British government. This program is dedicated to empowering Cameroonian female entrepreneurs by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to thrive in business and leadership. Through mentorship, training, and investment opportunities, Ladies in the Boardroom fosters an inclusive platform where women can pitch their ideas, develop innovative projects, and contribute to the economic and social progress of their communities.
