Charlotte Miller-Lacy is a Visionary and an expert in servant leadership. Her personal mission is to leave a legacy of service to communities by impacting lives across generational lines.<\/p>


Charlotte Miller-Lacy is the Founder and National Executive Director for I Am My Sister\u2019s Keeper, a mentoring organization for young girls. Charlotte\u2019s purpose is to be a Positive Agent of Change in the lives of girls and women. She accomplishes this through her passion for exposing young girls and women to other women who have a story to tell. She connects them to resources, mentoring, travel adventures, social and economic opportunities for young girls and women to empower themselves. Charlotte believes one has to be intentional in seeking out and engaging with diverse groups of people to grow together and understand the world around us.<\/p>


I Am My Sister\u2019s Keeper Wilmington Chapter and Headquarters was founded in Wilmington Delaware on October 13, 2016. I Am My Sister\u2019s Keeper now has chapters in Dover Delaware, and Chester Pennsylvania, with inquiries from other cities for future chapters. I Am My Sister\u2019s Keeper has transformed the lives and changed the trajectory of thousands of girls and their families through this organization. This is accomplished through community service and volunteering under the leadership of Charlotte.<\/p>


Charlotte is the recipient of the 2022 Toastmaster International Communication and Leadership Award, 2020 Jessie Arrey Leadership and Service Award; 2019 Delaware Today Women in Business Award. Charlotte has also received numerous awards, Tributes and recognitions from the State of Delaware; NewCastle County and the City of Wilmington Delaware. She is one of the contributing authors of \u201cLove Letters to My Girls.\u201d and \u201cHold the Line volume 1\u201d<\/p>


Charlotte has been blessed to spend 28 years with her awesome husband David L. Lacy. They are parents to 5 young men and 1 bonus daughter; 8 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.<\/p>

Charlotte plays many roles to different people in her life. Being recognized and known as \u201cMomma Lacy\u201d in the community is one that is near and dear to her heart and second to being called grandma.<\/p>


Charlotte has five Principles that have framed her journey to success – Faith, Family, Friends, Persistence and a Positive Attitude!<\/p>
