Sheneya Wilson is a PhD Student, Entrepreneur, and Certified Public Accountant. With a love for both accounting and social change, she founded Fola Financial to provide financial services to individuals and small business owners. Her mission is to empower underrepresented communities through the use of financial education. With more than 500 downloads to date, Wilson’s debut e-book, “Rake It Up”, provides free finance tips to her growing network of clients.
Ms. Wilson is actively involved in providing mentorship and support to youth in the New York City area and to her peers. She is the co-founder of MySuccessfulSistah, a not-for-profit that hosts an annual event called Cap’N Crowns to celebrate the graduations of young woman who are making positive strides towards their futures.
Ms. Wilson has been a guest speaker for many organizations including Microsoft, Colombia University, and Mott Hall Bridges Academy. She aspires to continue growing as a finance professional while using her knowledge to educate and inspire others. For these reasons, she prides herself in being The People’s CPA.
