ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
A Women’s Wellness and Business conference that takes place during Women’s History Month for aspiring and seasoned women entrepreneurs to start and scale their businesses while also prioritizing on self-care. Team WILDE understands that in order for women to be successful entrepreneurs and professionals they must first take care of themselves physically, spiritually and mentally. The theme for 2019 is Equip, Elevate and Empower HER. Our goal for the conference is not only to inspire, but to also provide the right strategies, resources and execution plans for women to thrive personally and professionally.
We are pleased to host the 2019 conference at the luxurious Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, Delaware.

Set against a solid expanse of sky on Dover’s outskirts, Dover Downs Hotel & Casino feels more like a small city than a resort. The AAA Four-Diamond property encompasses a swanky hotel with 500 guest rooms and suites, a horseracing track, and 11 restaurants and bars. There’s even a spa, Toppers Spa/Salon, where guests can indulge in a lime-and-coconut body polish against a soothing backdrop of potted bamboo and Oriental murals. But the hotel’s main draw is the casino, which has nearly 2,500 slot machines, Poker Room, and live table games, such as roulette, blackjack, and craps.

AWARDS LUNCHEON KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Lieutenant Governor Bethany Hall- Long
Since January 2017, Bethany Hall-Long has served as Delaware’s 26th Lt. Governor. Formally, Bethany served as a Delaware State Senator from 2008-2017 and a State Representative from 2002-2008 where she focused on issues involving behavioral health, cancer, education, and the environment.
After graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina with her MSN in Community Health Nursing, Bethany went on to receive her Ph.D in Health Policy and Nursing Administration from George Mason University. Bethany’s career in nursing took her from state to state with her husband, a Navy Veteran, where she worked with underserved populations in need.
After returning to her home state of Delaware, Bethany became a nursing professor at the University of Delaware, where she has served for over 20 years. Her research and community service record with at-risk groups such as pregnant teens, diabetics, homeless and the mentally ill, make her a nationally recognized health scientist.
Bethany currently resides in Middletown Delaware with her husband Dana, and son, Brock.
