Winifred A. Nchotu is a graduate of the Masters of Science in Nursing program from Hampton University. She also attended Chamberlain College of Nursing and Norfolk State University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Associates of Science degrees respectively.Winnie, as she is known by her peers has over five years of experience as an editor and blogger. She has blogged for IRepCameroon, and she is currently the chief editor and blogger for AskWinifred.com where she addresses all topics ranging from lifestyle to career choices.She has served as the diabetic educator and supervisor for Norfolk City Jail Medical department, where she acted as a liaison between the Sheriff’s Office, Norfolk Police Department and the inmates. She has also been a staff Nurse at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital which is one of the leading hospitals in Heart care.She is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a constant donor for “Feed the Children” since 2005. Winifred`s graduate research was on” Barriers to Effective Teamwork Between Nurses and Physicians in a Clinical Setting and its Effect on job Satisfaction and Retention.” She continues to apply her skills gained from her research with other organizations she affiliates with.
